Vuelta Hyperlite XC Plus 27.5 Carbon MTB Wheelset

Vuelta's new hyper lite plus is their first carbon MTB wheel, weighing in at 1380 grams, making it the perfect choice for cross-country racing. Designed for every mountain condition and budget, this hand-built 27.5-inch carbon wheelset is compatible with Shimano/SRAM 9/10/11 speed drivetrains.

The rims feature a 20mm profile, made from high-modulus monocoque carbon fiber, and are disc brake-only. They come equipped with Presta valves and are available in black. The spokes are Sapin D-Light double-butted, with a 2-cross lacing pattern on the front (24h) and a 3-cross pattern on the rear (24h).

The hubs are CNC-machined with road straight-pull 6-bolt disc cartridge bearings, with 2 in the front and 4 in the rear. The package includes alloy quick-release skewers, as well as adaptors for 15mm front and 12mm rear thru-axles, and 135mm to 142mm rear spacing. A nylon rim strip is also included.

The total weight of the wheelset is 1380 grams, making it an excellent choice for cross-country racers and those seeking a high-performance, durable carbon wheelset for their mountain bike.
